The Visitor Centre is open daily from 9:30 to 16:30.

Guided tours of the palace start at scheduled times: 10:00, 11:30, 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30.

The park is freely accessible throughout the day.

GETTING HERE

Károlyi Kastély is located in Fehérvárcsurgó, in the north-western part of Fejér County, approximately 80 km from Budapest and 20 km from Székesfehérvár, just off Route 81.

BY CAR

From Budapest, take the M7 motorway to the Székesfehérvár-Dél exit at kilometre 56. Leave the motorway at the Székesfehérvár-Dél exit and drive through the city before joining Route 81 towards Mór. Approximately 15 km north of Székesfehérvár, you will reach the turn-off for Fehérvárcsurgó on your left, from where the palace is easily accessible.

Free parking is available on the estate. The Visitor Centre and the palace entrance are easily accessible from the parking areas.

BY TRAIN AND BUS

From Budapest Déli railway station, take a train to Székesfehérvár, then continue by regional bus from the Székesfehérvár Bus Station to Fehérvárcsurgó. There is a 20 minutes’ walk between the train station and the bus station.

The “Fehérvárcsurgó, kastély” bus stop is located directly in front of the estate’s entrance.

VISITING THE ESTATE

Guided tours of the palace are available in Hungarian, English, German and French.

Tours last approximately one hour and start at 10:00, 11:30, 13:30, 15:00 and 16:30.

The permanent exhibition on the history of the Károlyi family can be visited independently in the visitor centre installed in the former stables.

Tickets must be purchased at the Visitor Centre.

Discounted ticket (children above 6, students, pensioners): 2,500 HUF

Family ticket (2 adults, 2 children): 8,500 HUF

Admission is free for residents of Fehérvárcsurgó, children under 6, and persons with disabilities.

ACCESSIBILITY & INCLUSION

Accessible rooms, a wheelchair-accessible restroom and a lift are available.

The Károlyi Kastély offers tactile experiences for visitors with visual impairments. Tactile models, reliefs and plant samples help visitors explore their surroundings.

This programme is also available to associations and organisations.

WE ARE PET-FRIENDLY

The Károlyi Kastély Hotel welcomes dogs, cats and other small pets.

The pet accommodation fee is HUF 10,000 per night.

Pets are allowed in the exhibition rooms and must stay with their owners at all times.

However, we regret that we are unable to welcome them in the indoor dining area.
